Greetings Beaver Creek Camp Commission and extended BCYC family:
Late last year, Beaver Creek Youth Camp was registered in the City Market Community Rewards program through which the camp can receive a donation each time a registered Value Card is used at the local market. Even though we had not advertised the program (it renews each year so we waited until 2018 to make the announcement), and to our knowledge no one had registered their card, City Market (actually Kroger) sent us a check for $0.58.
I would like to thank whoever discovered BCYC's participation in the rewards program last year and, now, invite everyone else who shops at City Market to join. It cost nothing and can generate dollars for the camp.
To register your card, please go to https://www.citymarket.com/topic/city-market-community-rewards and follow the directions. You'll be guided to create a digital account tied to your Value Card (so you need to have it available) and then select the agency you want the donations to go to. Beaver Creek's number is 36861.
There are options for digital coupons, etc that you can opt out of but I've found that I've saved money with them and the Free Friday Download has allowed me to try products I probably wouldn't have, some I like and others I'm glad I didn't pay for.
I hope everyone who shops at City Market or Kroger will register their shopping card to help generate funds for Beaver Creek.
May God continue to bless the camp and each of you.
PS There is also a Safeway program but Debbie and I haven't been able to make that one work for Beaver Creek, yet. Stay tuned for more information.
